Heat Persists as Town Sees Saturated Summer Days

Fishing Party Enjoys Flaking Trip On Cleavermek Creek

A party from Floris led by John Harvey and Frank Taylor with families fished from Saturday to Monday on Cleavermek. They found fish scarce but plentiful enough to eat, and the outing was described as thoroughly enjoyable. W H Thomas and FG Tracy with families took an overland trip to Hendley Nebraska last week to visit corvatives and report crop conditions, noting hot weather and discouraging prospects. Beaver County was praised as an oasis amid rough conditions, with visitors returning north south east and west.

Services at Home Creek Christian gathering

An all day meeting is set at Home Creek schoolhouse on Sunday July. The Bible School will be led by F A Sharon in the forenoon and a large basket dinner will be shared at noon.
