Judge Cullison Campaign Visit For U S Senate

Judge James H. Cullison of Enid Oklahoma Republican nominee candidate visited Beaver on Monday and Tuesday this week. A pioneer of Oklahoma he has spent his life among the pioneers of Kansas and Oklahoma and for ten years served as district judge for Garfield Kingfisher Alfalfa and Major counties fighting for a high minded campaign and clean public life slated to attract Republican voters at the primary election.

Mothers Club Meeting At Presbyterian Church

The Mothers club met at the Presbyterian church last Friday afternoon with twelve members present. Papers on Reverence and Training Our Boys inspired attendees. funds were sought to grade and repair the Grade School Grounds. Due to chautauqua the July 2 meeting is canceled. the next gathering is the second Friday in August. Season tickets for the chautauqua are encouraged.

Tourists Leave Beaver for Extended Rocky Mountain Trip

A party led by Mr and Mrs Freak Laughein with several relatives departs Beaver Wednesday for a Colorado visit and to tour Yellow Stone National Park. The group plans several weeks away while Mr Lavebrin and wife stay to winter on the coast in California. The trip is expected to be pleasant though further departures may hinder Beaver’s quorum.
