County Attorney Rizley plans to resign in the near future and relocate with his family to Guymon to practice law. Beaver County mourns his departure and praises his record of efficiency. Tragic Fire Claims Two Young Children of Chas Lawrence

In Suoeet area a kitchen stove fire trapped two Lawrence children aged two and five. A nearby neighbor helped but one child died at the scene and the other died later from severe burns. McPherson Unable to Post Bond on Intoxicant Possession Charge

McPherson arraigned for having intoxicating liquor with intent to sell remains in custody unable to furnish bond of 760 dollars. County officers seized at McPhersons place 242 one ounce bottles of Jamaican Older, 18 pints of Beet Iron and Wine, and three barrels of elder and four carboys of marinating extracts charged as intended beverage purport.

Balko and Braver Grade Schools Play Basketball

A Balko and Braver Grade Schools basketball team, coached by Mrs. Wort Leonard and A P Owen, traveled to Malka last Friday and lost 22 to 14. On Monday Balko won 36 to 13 to take the return game. Community members, including Mr and Mrs J R Spurrier and others, drove to Perryton as Perryton’s town grows with new railroad prospects.
