Silver Weudinn Anniversary Celebrated

Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Frost celebrated twenty fifth wedding anniversary in Beaver with eighteen relatives and friends. The gathering included H. G. Purdy Will Seavers and family P. L. Thomas and family Mr. and Mrs. Will Ray and Mrs. Alice Brackeen. A silver casserole and china bowl were given as keepsakes.

Missionaries Havek Owen Meeting At Beaver

Open meeting of the Presbyterian missionary Society drew notable attendance from local mission groups. Program featured talks on Why the Missionary Society will Fail, The Mother Goose Missionary Society, piano duets, vocal trio, piano solo, and devotional exercises. Refreshments followed as L D Wood of Battle Creek, Michigan, visited Beaver, with others: Dr L Long returning from Guthrie and Oklahoma City trip, Rev Pearson attending a revival, and Mrs Hendricka and sons Wiley and Earl in Beaver Saturday.

The Ride-a-Wee group met on Wednesday afternoon with Mia Goo and Henry Weilensday to discuss a donation of four dollars to the Mothers' Club and a pledge of about one hundred dollars to a Payiion Fund. Officers elected: Mrs John W. Savage president and Mrs L. L. Long vice president.
