Clarice Strang and Miss Sadie Beauchamp were married at the bride’s home on Christmas night December 26. R. B. Carter officiated, joining the couple in a ceremony that united two Beaver residents with deep local ties. The groom, son of Mrs. S. S. Strong, has lived here most of his life except for service in the recent conflict. The bride, daughter of Eline Heavchamp of Beaver, had recently resided in Oklahoma City where she was employed by Harry P. Truax. Local well wishers extend best hopes for a happy life together.

Barn Fire Destroys Farm Structure and Stock West of Town

Johnnie M. Jones reported a major blaze on his farm west of town last Thursday night, destroying a barn and contents. A hired man was away. the fire was discovered next morning with two horses and a mule inside. Widow’s gear, harness and feed also perished, leaving a heavy loss. cause undetermined. Dances at the K P Hall on Christmas night and New Year’s Eve were noted by attendees.
