Beaver County notes show BO Taylor planning a new residence on the South Side while OC Kinderson begins construction on another home. The piece highlights widespread farm improvements, new houses, and modern conveniences like piped water and acetylene lighting across town.
The Entre Nous Musical Club met Monday afternoon with Mrs R H Loofbourran presiding Mrs C F Twyford won leader and the program included Wild Rose In Autumn and selections by Bond Milow MacDowell and Neidlinger Honor guests included Misses Eva and Mabel Green The next meeting will be at Mrs W with Miss Edith Miles as leader.
A quiet wedding occurred at Kevs home as Miss Bertha Turner and ES Devis were joined in marriage. The ceremony featured Hee Shaw delivering the vows. The Herald extends congratulations and wishes long happiness. Harvey Nelson of Balko wins a $1000 Bankers Association scholarship for Group 2 club work in Beaver County. The Counties in Group 2 include Beaver Harper and others. M Feinberg of Liberal Kansas plans Beaver clothing store with a full line of men womens and childrens wear and will open soon after visiting New York markets.
McCoy and Lewis arrive from Waynoka to open a pool hall and barber shop in a new building for Mrs. Nettie Brown. The Waynoka Enterprise praises their clean, lawful billiard parlor and orderly barber shop, noting their reputation and steady conduct as they relocate to Beaver City with Mr Meier joining as barber.

Work started this week on the Solin and Hal Grain Company elevator, the fourth for Beaver. The three existing ones are C. M. Light Grain, HF, Prouet Grain, and the Alyn Mill and Elevator. A fifth elevator likely soon by Farmers' Equity Exchange. Drenoon Grain Company may also build, making a sixth.
Two carloads of brick arrived this week for the Fleet National Bank building at the corner of Douglas and Recond street. Construction is expected to commence soon, with work starting in the near future.
J C Miles is widening his grocery shop with excavations for a 20 foot extension and basement. The project will create more space to handle growing business and provide storage for perishables and produce in the new basement area.
