A severe wind storm last Thursday and Friday rattled Beaver County with fallen plates and signs. County Clerk Beardsley resigned, John W. Savage appointed to fill the unexpired term, and Beardsley plans a trip to Arkansas. A surprise farewell party for Miss Allye Stone at the White Hoar e hotel celebrated her upcoming departure. Beaver reports rising automobile activity, Blue Grass Sunday School attendance, and a Beaver County Teachers Association meeting with programs and papers. Local items include W.P. Rogers leaving for Englewood State Bank and various town visitors and events.
