Democratic county convention set for Beaver Oklahoma
By order of the Democratic county central committee of Beaver county Oklahoma the Democratic county convention will be held at the courthouse in Beaver Oklahoma on Saturday September 1st 1908 at 10 o'clock a m to nominate candidates for county offices in the coming November election. Delegates apportioned by precinct include Beaver four Grand Valley two Benton two Mardesty four Elmwood four Lagan four Pleasant View two. The committee will convene after adjournment of the county convention to elect a chairman and secretary for the next term and handle other business. Primaries are urged for August 27th 1908 at each precinct for delegates to the county convention. Certificates of nomination for township offices will be mailed to precinct central committeemen prior to primaries and filled out as nominations are made.
