Little One Passes Away in Beav er Cemetery Burial

The two weeks old son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas Hinkle died last week and was buried Friday in Beaver cemetery. The infant died shortly after birth, in poor physical condition, and the family expresses faith that the child rests in God’s kingdom. Friends extend sympathy to the parents in their bereavement.

Crowd at district court over Calhoun Messersmith suit

One of the largest crowds in district court history attended last week. Albert Finley and his wife left Wednesday for Arkansas after serving as witnesses. Mrs Finley taught at the Brown schoolhouse while Mr Finley was a Beaver postmaster.
