Crystal Brook Show shines despite rain attracts crowds
The fifth annual North Western Agricultural Society show at Crystal Brook drew large crowds from Port PirieInsula and northern towns with visitors from Adelaide. Exhibits in pot plants cut flowers fruit vegetables and livestock impressed, with prizewinners named for numerous categories and a well attended official luncheon hosted by A Tucker and attended by M P Lyons and Senator Badman.

Mary Nimnie widow of Thomas Nimnie dies at home
Mrs Mary Nimnie, widow of the late Mr Thomas Nimnie, aged about 70, died at her residence. Born in England in 1855, she came to Australia as a child, lived in Mintara and Jamestown areas, attended Methedist church, and leaves sisters Mrs McKay of Jamestown and Mrs Robinson of Yoogala. Funeral was held Thursday at Tarcewie cemetery with burial rites.
