Northern District Councils and Corporations Annual Meeting
The Northern District Councils and Corporations Association held its fiftieth annual meeting at Memorial Hall Gladstone on August 27 with President W S Bennett presiding. Delegates including G Adams Snowtown J Lyons Georgetown and J Rose Laura heard reports on roads funding and proposed by laws. the conference opened with remarks by Minister A P Blesing and included historical notes on the association’s formation in 1922.
