James Town Methodist Tennis Club Annual Meeting Notes
The James Town Methodist Tennis Club held its annual meeting in the Lecture Hall with Rev. Mahoney presiding. Officers elected include Rev. Mahoney as President, with Heron Medlia Moore and White as vicepresidents, L Easson as captain, L Moore as vice captain, L Soloman as secretary and treasurer, A Steggall as assistant secretary, and a selection committee comprising the captain, vice captain and a B Grade representative. The club will enter both A and B Grade teams in the Belalie Tennis Association and the season opens on Saturday September 18.

The event honored veterans, featured music by Mrs. W Virgo and Mr. E Cohen, and announced multiple championship and aggregate winners. An all day shoot on August 28 1987 yielded notable scores by Osman M A Lines R W and Batten L H among others.
