Crystal Brook Ratepayers Debate Golf Club Lease
Ratepayers in Crystal Brook met to consider leasing 18 holes of park lands to the Crystal Brook Golf Club for 10 shillings a year for 10 years. The meeting empowered the Council to grant the lease and to approach the Government over a subsidy cut. The Crystal Brook Cricket Club and Bowling Club held annual meetings with reports, honours, and new officers elected.
