Fatal wreck near Kansas City kills two men and many cattle
A morning head on collision on the Missouri Pacific near Dead Man's Curve east of Kansas City killed two engineers, wrecked twenty eight cars, and set cattle and grain on fire. The disaster, blamed on Greenwood operator E. Jamison misreporting the eastbound train, left nearly ninety cattle dead or burned and caused about 100000 in losses.
