Comet Discovery by Swift Near Brooks Comet
On Monday night the 10th, Prof. Swift director of the Warner Observatory Rochester discovered another comet in the same constellation as the one found by Prof. Brooks. Moving toward Earth with little apparent motion it was hard to verify until Saturday night. The two comets may cross orbits as they progress, their near simultaneous appearance noted as singular.
