Dickinson County approves Ridge township vote on railroad aid
A long county record shows August 4 1884 actions by Dickinson County Kansas Board of County Commissioners. Voters of Ridge township petitioned to subscribe nine thousand dollars to the Salina Western railroad and issue bonds to fund stock, with a September 16 1884 special election set to decide if Ridge will aid the railway project.
