Road commission requested by county and state in 1584

January 1584 records show the county and state board appointing viewers led by Gungeler and Maozhermar to measure and lay out a road from the southwest corner of section 4 east along section lines toward Lyons Creek, routing through Liberty township toward Junction City and Merion Center, with surveyors to meet February 9.
