Deputy marries after eleven years of bliss in box of cigars

The Revuector force welcomed Deputy U. S. Marshal C. W. Liggett who, entering the office with a smile, handed cigars to the team and announced that after eleven years of marriage a daughter has arrived at his home. He exclaimed the noon hour marked his first girl in the house.

A Topeka visit on January 29 1886 marked the 25th anniversary of Kansas statehood with a grand meeting of old settlers.
