Expert Vows Sun Color Is Blue in Scots Observed Theory
Prof. C. P. Langley of the Allegheny Observatory returns from Europe to Pitts burgh and reports that sun light is blue rather than white. He argues air acts like an orange veil that filters colors, leaving blue and violet predominating, though sunlight contains red and other hues. He notes not pure monochrome blue but blue dominates original rays.
