Advice Declined by The Globe Democrat on Presidential Choice

The St Louis Globe Democrat argues the next Democratic nominee should come from the south, claiming the region has earned that right and liberal northern Democrats will concede. It warns against taking advice from such sources and notes no Republican can secure the electoral vote against Cleveland, while U.S. Supreme Court retirement rules may open seats.
