County Fair Dates and Local Social Notes
Many items record upcoming events and social visits across Abilene and surrounding towns. Notices include the County Fair on Sept 16 to 19, church services, travels of residents to Chicago, Minneapolis, and Des Moines, and gatherings such as a pink tea at the skating rink and a house-warming at the Gibbs farm with neighbors, officers, and a big turnout.
