Warm Welcome For Rev and Mrs Morrison In City Home
On Monday afternoon Rev and Mrs Morrison, who have been boarding at the Henry House since their arrival, were notified their new East Fourth Street home was ready. Guild ladies hastened to prepare a welcoming scene with flowers and ample viands as the rector and his wife entered. They were greeted by a long list of local ladies who soon left the couple to enjoy fireside company. Card of Thanks From Reformed Church Members
Many church members visited to celebrate the twenty fourth wedding anniversary at our home. Mr Cranston spoke kindly and presented a parlor lamp. We expressed gratitude for the friendly call and Christian fellowship and the support given in later years. Refreshments were served and the gathering was a warm, gracious occasion.
