Havana Aug 24 The Cuban government ordered four rapid fire guns from an American supplier to aid in suppressing the insurrection. If effective, four or more additional guns may be ordered and American gunners may be hired. The United States has not been asked to intervene. General Quentin Bandera was killed yesterday as rural guards clashed with insurgents, a setback for the revolt.
