Special to Texan Ol Ledger reports Ranger Valley Oil Co leased 200 acres of Nacogdoches oil lands this week. J N Southard says the leases will be developed at once and Carolina Oil Co plans a refinery on the H Em and W T right of way to process the field’s crude. Crude will be shipped by tank car once plant operates, replacing previous barrel shipments. Production comes from shallow sand at 800 to 400 feet with wells yielding one to four barrels daily.
