Kills Employee Ends Own Life in Carrizozo Dairy

In Carrizozo New Mexico Samuel Potts shot and killed his hired man Coleman then killed himself about nine in the morning. Domestic trouble is suspected amid reports of near daily interactions between Coleman and Mrs Potts. Potts left a wife and a six year old daughter. The sheriff and coroner visited the scene but filed no finding yet.

United States attorney Guion had Hans Halle and George Summers arrested on conspiring to ship unmarked explosives. London June 9. Herman Rosenthal, arrested on a German spy charge, allegedly swore he was an American to obtain American passports from the U S embassy in Berlin. It is believed he was sent by the German admiralty to gather information.

British Officers Freed From Solitary Confinement

Washington June 9 Gen Villa will reply to President Wilson's note on Mexico within days.
