Trail of meat juice leads to suspected steak thief
Calaveras County deputies arrested Lindsey Blackledge after following a trail of meat juice from a neighbor’s grill to her apartment. The partially cooked steak was found on a bathroom counter and Blackledge was jailed on charges of receiving stolen property and an outstanding warrant. The incident occurred about 6 15 p m Wednesday and the steak was not recovered for return.
