U S forces pounded the Viet Cong Central Office site in Tay Ninh Province while air and sea units conducted operations across South Viet Nam. 7th Fleet destroyers and rocket ships fired over 1300 five inch shells and rockets at supply routes storage areas and fortified positions. Ground skirmishes reported 18 Viet Cong killed with three small clashes. Monsoon rain limited air raids to 32 missions. The Viet Cong said it would observe a 48 hour Christmas and New Year truce.

Plan to Have New Buses in Operation Soon
