Official Tells Of Scorpion Find
Navy and Naval Research Laboratory officials tied a small bent metal plate to the Scorpion rescue effort two miles deep in the Atlantic. The plate sparked the search area shift to a zone 400 miles southwest of the Azores where Mizar found portions of the Scorpion about three to four miles from the plate.
