ISU to issue 4.46 million bond for two new halls

SOUTH BEND Indiana authorities sought state police lab help to identify a very attractive young woman found dead in woods ten miles south of the city. The 20 year old victim was shot in the back, not molested, and carried from a nearby road. An autopsy cited a .32 caliber wound, with evidence the attempt to light a cigarette preceded the killing. Supersonic B52 Crashes in Wisconsin. 9 Die
A Strategic Air Command B52 eight-engine bomber crashed in a wooded area near Stone Lake Wisconsin after refueling Friday night. Nine aboard were killed with no survivors. The Air Force said the plane left Barksdale Air Force Base Louisiana at 3 p.m. on a routine training mission.
