Push for UF Surpasses 1967 Goal in Telephone Campaign
United Fund workers report they surpassed last year's $448 500 total on Tuesday leaving five percent of the 1967 goal to be collected. Telemarketing continues through Thursday to reach $470 580 by week end with focus on small accounts. Campaign leadership includes Gen Allison Maxwell John Napier and Mrs Robert Ratcliffe assisted by Bernard Burdick Barney McMahon and Marion Tislow plus UF director Robert Garrison and Gene Vaughn. Recent gains shown include Ernest and Ernst 1219 Gartland Foundry 1525 WTHI 1403 Smith and Decker 440 Aldens Department Store 1454 Suburban Ready Mix 283 pct Columbia Enameling 115 pct.
