The Vigo Circuit Court trial of former Brazil minister Earl Cummings and Lonnie Bogers began with objections to the opening statement. The Vigo County Tuberculosis Society launches its annual Christmas Seal Campaign with a goal of 25 000. Major services include tuberculin testing for about 7 000 schoolchildren, education programs, support for the Tuberculosis Outpatient Clinic, and research. 26 new active cases were recorded in 1967. 1968 figures are not yet compiled.
