State Board Rejects Objections to Terre Haute High Schools

The decision allows a $19.3 million construction program to proceed with a lease between the school board and the holding corporation. The board chair signed the ruling after a sparsely attended hearing. Remonstrators urged cutting $2 million by removing so-called frills, while supporters argued long-term savings justify the features.
