Centralia Teacher Dies In Crash Near Marshall Illinois
Norman Dwight Hills 27 a Centralia music teacher died in a two door car crash on I 70 west of Marshall Illinois. A Centralia woman also burned in the fire is unidentified pending dental records. The coroner said an inquest will be held Sunday in Martinsville. The bodies lay at Greenwell Funeral Home Martinsville. Hills graduated Martinsville High School in 1964 and held a degree from Eastern Illinois University. The accident occurred about 7 p m three miles west of U S 1 near Aleone Road. The driver apparently lost control before the vehicle struck an abutment. Authorities say the car exploded and burned beyond recognition. Continued on Page 3 column 7.
