Sweden says Malenkov sent to Siberia on inspection tour
Swedish engineer Sture Ekefalk reports ex premier Georgi Malenkov has been sidelined and sent to Siberia on an inspection tour after a delegation from Sweden returned from Russia. In Las Vegas Nevada on March 29 two atomic devices exploded in a single day marking a first in state nuclear testing. Victim of Second Train Mishap In City
Russell D. Jacobs aged 50 of 319 North Water Street was struck by a boxcar near Chestnut and Water streets on Tuesday and suffered severe head injuries. He was rushed to St Anthony Hospital in fair condition after officers noted a warning to stay away from railroad property. Conductor T C Jones said three cars had already moved when the accident occurred. Authorities believe Jacobs had been struck before and he wore a hearing aid.
