Highlights in the 12 Points Parade
Jimmie Farah of Jimmies Finer Foods chases Eddy Cantor while celebrating the birth of his 3 week old daughter Julie Kay, a 7 42 pound arrival. The story notes many local names and storefronts including Kay s Flower Shop and Terre Haute shops, with social updates on illness, summer dresses, fans, lawn mowers, and a Soap Box Derby sponsor lineup. The column closes with village chatter and a forecast of a July 3 deadline for the next note.
