New Improved Street Lighting Plan Proposed in City
The Public Service Company of Indiana proposes to buy and modernize all city ornamental lights for up to 35209.33 dollars under a ten year contract. About 278 lights on Wabash avenue and in Twelve Points would be upgraded with fluorescent or mercury luminaires. The annual costs would be 38157.60 or 40778.40 respectively, higher than current spending, with extensions recommended to additional streets and City Hall locations.
