Jan Sparks Takes Over Hy-Fashion Beauty Salon
Terre Haute beautician Jan Sparks purchased Hy-Fashion Beauty Salon at 1402 Wabash Ave in April with a plan to modernize and enhance comfort. This week nine air conditioned hair dryers were installed cutting drying time by about 30 percent along with new blue and green carpeting and aqua drapes. The salon offers wig and wiglet sales featuring Oleg Cassini products and a four week wig care course at Saharan Beauty School in Las Vegas. The staff includes six beauticians and Sparks, who also serves as receptionist, provides coffee to clients. Open 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Saturday.
