Despondent Man Ends His Life in Terre Haute
Dean W. Whitlock a 54 year old resident of Terre Haute R A 3 died at St Anthony Hospital from a self inflicted gunshot wound. Deputy Sheriff Fred Carpenter said Whitlock shot himself with a .22 rifle about 8 am at his home as family performed chores. Coroner D M Ferguson ruled death due to a despondency related gunshot wound in the head. He leaves a wife Christine a son Doan Frank five brothers a sister and two grandchildren. The funeral home De Baun of Terre Haute will handle arrangements.
