Deaths in Rockville Knife Slayings Deepen Investigation

Investigators centered on a weekend double murder of a Rockville mother Christine Norton 26 and her four year old son Brett as funeral services were set for Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home. Coroner Dr. Frank Swaim said death times were estimated around midnight Friday to Saturday morning with family alibis placing them at dinner at 7 p.m. A fixed blade knife was believed used though not recovered and no suspects yet named.
