Crash kills two Terre Haute men near Catlin Parke County
FAA inspectors and a National Transportation Safety Bureau member examine the wreckage of a Cessna 150 that crashed Saturday near Catlin. The two men, Jeffrey Jan Wallace Hardaway, 20, and John A Livengood, 34, were found after the plane, reported missing from Brown Flying School, crashed in a field, slicing the aircraft in half. The crash occurred about 5:20 p.m. and the cockpit clock stopped at that time. Investigators searched from Sunday morning, with ISU helicopter aid, and the plane was found on Wayne Brubeck’s farm by his 12 year old son.
