One Million Students to Take Draft Qualification Tests
One million draft eligible students are slated to take Selective Service college qualification tests this spring to help draft boards decide who may stay in school or be drafted. Tests will be held May 14 21 and June 3 at 1200 sites across the continental United States Hawaii Alaska Puerto Rico and the Canal Zone. Eligibility includes college and high school seniors who apply by April 23. The test lasts three hours and covers reading comprehension verbal relations arithmetic reasoning and data interpretation with equal emphasis on verbal and quantitative skills.
