Debs House to Close for Repairs This Summer
Debs House at 451 North Eighth Street will be closed for several weeks starting Sunday for renovations. The upstairs hall will be restored and turned into a labor hall of fame with photos and citations of Eugene V. Debs awards. Two honorees named so far are John L. Lewis and Norman Thomas.

ISU Professor to Speak at Texas Teachers Conventions
Dr. M. Dale Baughman of Indiana State University will address the National Association of Secondary School Principals in Dallas from Feb 25 to Mar 1 and also speak at two Texas teachers’ conventions. Outstanding Young Farmer to be honored at Terre Haute Jaycees banquet
Terre Haute Jaycees will name an Outstanding Young Farmer at Saturday’s Distinguished Service Awards Banquet held at the Terre Haute House.
