Pupil 17 Slugs Instructor At Gerstmeyer With Chain
A 17 year old pupil was held by juvenile authorities after slugging Gerstmeyer High School teacher Domenic V. Varda with a chain and fleeing Monday afternoon. Varda treated for a scalp wound with three jagged cuts, later stated not needing stitches.
