Plane Crash Kills 4 in Illinois A Marine Escapes
Terre Haute resident Staff Sergeant Dick Setliff identified the dead pilot Tech Sergeant Ray O Brezeale and his wife Jennie among four killed when a privately owned twin engine plane crashed 20 miles south of Springfield Illinois after leaving Hulman Field late Friday night. Two other sailors from the Jacksonville North Carolina base also died. Setliff said the group planned to visit St Louis en route home to their Marine station at Jacksonville. The plane was found around 10 am in a muddy field after crashing earlier. The wreck prompted continued reporting on the investigation and trail to Page 2.
