Tragic Rushville Crossing Crash Claims 1 Life
Iris Gardner aged 47 of Rushville died when a Baltimore and Ohio freight train backed into the Gardner car at Arlington last night. Sam Gardner 40s suffered a fractured thigh and Joan Gardner 14 sustained a fractured foot. The auto occupants were taken to city hospital. Elige Stutsman of Indianapolis, the train engineer, said the crash occurred as the freight train backed up.
