Six Children Die in Taumbauersville Fire
Six children perished when a two story frame home burned in Taumbauersville late Tuesday. Their mother and oldest son suffered burns while trying to rescue them. Five bodies were recovered. a sixth remains missing. A seventh child, Alonzo, 12, was pulled from the flames by his mother who also suffered burns. Foster children and a sibling were among the deceased. The father had gone for fuel oil before the blaze was found.

Vigo Circuit Court has postponed the arraignment of 70 year old Franklin A. Vanderpool of Farmersburg Arkansas on a second degree murder indictment. The delay followed counsel conflicts as Warren R.
