Washington August 20 A new two stage two dollar a day raise for many soft coal miners is reported ready for announcement. The plan would begin with a 15 cent an hour increase effective September 1 and a further 10 cent raise on April 1. John L Lewis head of the United Mine Workers and his wage policy committee were to meet to ratify the pact with Harry M Moses reportedly involved.
