The body of 46 year old E Kendall Olds administrative assistant to former State Auditor Orville E Hodge was found near Surf Club at Lake Springfield. Police chased a lead after an abandoned car was reported on Club property and the coroner investigated drowning as a possible cause of death. Olds in his 40s married and father of a 10 year old girl.
