Templeton Council Endorses Betterment Council for Iowa Program
The Templeton City Council endorses the Templeton Community Betterment Council as sponsor for the Iowa Community Program and authorizes its entry into the Community Awards Competition. Cliff Romey is named official liaison. Meeting dated June 4, 1973. Discussion covered water mains along Third Street Fourth Avenue to Wegman Sisters and Mrs Roche and Mrs Schaeuble residences. A waterway cut by Street Commissioner to aid truck and car passage near Greteman Bros and Fred Kaus residence. Abandoned mains to be cut and capped. Marshall to count them. Meeting adjourned.
