The Warborough Press lists weekly publication at ten dollars and fifty cents per year prepaid or three dollars per quarter. Less than a year costs twenty five cents per month. Advertisements up to a square cost one dollar for the first insertion and twenty five cents each continuation. longer ads scaled accordingly. Court orders add twenty five percent. Letters to the editor must be postpaid.
Faculty recommended remedies include Extract of Sarsaparilla and Blood Root for blood impurities and scrofula, Buchu and Uva Ursi for urinary disease, Camomile Tonic for fever and debility, Camphorated Cordial for vomiting and cramps, Carrageen Moss and Squills for lungs, Tomato Pills for purification and laxative effects, Superfine Tooth Powder for teeth, with claims of scientific preparation by Geo. Howard as agent.

The Supreme Court at its late term in Stark county Ohio granted a divorce to the wife of Jacob Cope due to cruel treatment and infidelity. The decree gives her exclusive life use of the entire real estate and requires Cope to return her wearing apparel on demand or face a $100 mulct.
A stranger boarded the Philadelphia Camden ferry, handed a note, and, after stepping on the bow chain, jumped into the river and disappeared. The Ledger notes he had withdrawn 900 dollars that morning from the Northern Liberties bank, later robbed, and, after harsh words, killed himself. A Norfolk letter signed Samuel Erskine, Esq. references the same man, said to have lodged at the Eagle Hotel in Pratt Street.
A diver weeks before his departure for Philadelphia spoke of a quarrel with his wife in Norfolk. He claimed to seek business in Philadelphia where he had about $900 deposited in a city bank and about $5900 with him. He showed distress when mentioning his wife and appeared unsettled.
Distressing death report from Linconville Maine states Mr Charles Thomas aged about 70 to 50 was found last week in a Lowell marsh. The tragedy followed a duck hunting excursion. His gun lay nearby and authorities believe he died of an apoplectic fit while aiming at ducks.
The Philadelphia Public Ledger reports a GPA suit before the United States Circuit Court at Philadelphia where Resile the mail contractor is plaintiff and the United States defendant, claiming about 3000 000. The report also notes a savage swarm incident near Freehold Penn where a man’s horses were stung to death while plowing, with bees attacking for hours and causing multiple deaths.
The Floridian resumes publication by yesterday's mail on a half sheet after losing editors and a staff member in three months. The Tallahassee outbreak limited operations as sickness hit the office with two workers unable to perform duties. The paper notes no one in the office has escaped the epidemic, urging printers to come only when health improves.
The Vera Cruz dates are to the Sh October. Santa Anna arrived at the Capital with his troops on the night of September 2 and captured the forts of San Francisco and St Geronimo. A verdict was returned in the United States Court in the case United States vs United States Bank. The suit sought about 253000 arising from the first government bill to France for spoliation indemnity. The bill, purchased by the bank, was unpaid when presented in Paris and protested for nonpayment.
The case discusses settlement with the Government over damages from a bill of exchange drawn in Maryland. The jury awarded the plaintiff $251,445.34 plus costs after determining the bank was not the holder at protest and that damages could be claimed only by the actual holder or an endorser.
